"I can't say enough Great things about Cedars. It was a lot of hard work but changing three and a half decades of dysfunction and drug abuse, and all that comes with that isn't ever going to be easy. But I had a STELLAR team of people to help me. The clinical staff, the counselors,kitchen staff. And last but not least all of my peers!! I've been home now almost 3 months now and today I'm still sober! And I can say without a doubt that Cedars saved my life!!"

Happy, Joyous and Free

To absolutely no one's surprise, just quitting the substances and doing absolutely nothing else was not enough to sustain me long-term. All of the issues that had led me to use substances in the first place were still there, waiting in the shadows.

Reflection….

Every day was Groundhog Day; I had exhausted every solution that I could come up with on my own that put me in the driver’s seat, many of them several times over. I was done, it was over. I had done everything I could with what I had to work with.
